Matrix proudly supports The Conservation Fund and its Go Zero® Program. As part of a commitment to go green, Biolage donated $50,000 in 2009 to help support Go Zero, a program that addresses climate change and habitat loss by planting trees to zero-out carbon dioxide emissions. Biolage's donation will help plant more than 1,000 trees and zero out nearly 2.4 million pounds of carbon dioxide.

Matrix incorporated the Foundation into its 2007 holiday gift box promotion, donating proceeds from the sales of over 2 million gift sets sold nationwide. Matrix also served as a title sponsor of the Celebrity Golf Classic in Los Angeles. At both of the Foundation's 2007 carnivals, Matrix hosted the Biolage Paint, Plant, and Grow booth, and included the Foundation in special promotions during Oscars week in Los Angeles and the Vavoom/Entertainment Weekly party in New York City.

In March 2008, Matrix salons across the United States joined together for this great cause to put on the first Give Big Straight from the Heart Kids Cut-A-Thon. At the NYC event on March 2nd, kids played games and got their hair cut by top Matrix stylists for a great cause: putting an end to pediatric AIDS. The March 2nd event, together with the National Kids Cut-a-Thon on March 30th, raised more than $75,000 for the Foundation.
